How to use
Type raw text in the upper field and press “Encode” to get its Base64 form below. Type Base64 in the lower field and press “Decode” to get the raw text above.
Text is encoded as UTF-8 bytes, so accented letters and emoji survive the round trip. Invalid Base64 and byte sequences that are not UTF-8 are reported as errors instead of being mangled.
The URL-safe alphabet uses “-” and “_” instead of “+” and “/” and omits the padding.
